Chikankari garments require gentle care to preserve their delicate embroidery and fabric. Please follow the washing instructions below to ensure the longevity and beauty of your chikankari kurtas and pants:
For Chikankari Garments:
- For Chikankari garments, we recommend using a delicate hand wash or dry clean only.
- Make sure to wash these garments with cold water using mild detergents specifically designed for delicate fabrics.
- To remove stains, dip the garment in a solution of detergent and water & rub the stained area with a soft bristle brush.
- Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the garment to prevent damage.
- Gently squeeze out excess water, but do not wring or twist the garment.
- Do not use bleach for washing chikankari garments.
For Block Print:
- For Block Print garments, we recommend hash washing or if necessary, a delicate machine wash that should not exceed 30 degrees.
- Make sure to use non-enzyme/non-biological washing powder or liquid during wash.
- Do not tumble dry your garments.
- Gently pull to shape and dry your garment inside-out exposed, avoiding direct sunlight.
- Wash strong coloured garments separately. They may require 3 or more washes to remove excess dye.
